Returns & Refunds Policy

At Habibi’s Palace, our goal is to provide high-quality food and reliable service. Since we prepare fresh food made to order, our Returns & Refunds Policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and considerate of both customers and operational constraints. By placing an order on habibispalace.com, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. No Return Policy (Food Items)

As food is perishable and prepared fresh on order, we do not accept returns once the food has been delivered, picked up, or consumed. Exceptions are only considered in cases where the order is incorrect, damaged, or compromised in quality.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

A refund may be issued in the following situations:

2.1 Wrong Order Delivered

If the items delivered do not match your order, you may be eligible for a refund or replacement.

2.2 Missing Items

If an item is missing, you can request:

  • A refund for the missing item
  • A replacement (subject to availability)
2.3 Quality Issues

If you believe the food quality is unacceptable, please contact us within 30 minutes of delivery/pickup with details and supporting photos/videos. Refunds for taste preference alone will not be granted.

2.4 Order Cancelled Before Preparation

If you cancel an order before preparation begins, you will receive a full refund.

2.5 Restaurant-Initiated Cancellation

We may cancel an order due to:

  • Unavailability of items
  • Delivery limitations
  • Technical issues
  • Unexpected operational problems
In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Taste preferences (“didn’t like the taste”)
  • Food not consumed on time
  • Delays caused by traffic, weather, or third-party delivery constraints
  • Incorrect delivery address provided by the customer
  • Items consumed halfway or completely before raising an issue
  • Complaints raised beyond the 30-minute window of delivery/pickup

4. Refund Processing Time

If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method:

  • UPI / Wallets / Cards / Net Banking: 3–7 business days
  • Cash-on-Delivery (if applicable): Refund will be issued as digital payment (e.g., UPI) after verification
Processing times depend on your bank or payment provider.

5. Replacement Policy

If you are eligible, you may choose a replacement instead of a refund. Replacements are subject to availability of items, delivery constraints, and operational feasibility.

7. Delivery Partner Issues

If delivery is handled by a third-party partner (e.g., local delivery services), delays caused by that partner are not grounds for refunds unless the food arrives damaged or spoiled.
